Organizing Layouts with the Group Block
The Group block is a powerful tool that allows you to group several blocks into a single container, making it easier to organize layouts. It provides flexible layout options and visibility controls, enabling you to create dynamic designs.
Layout Settings:
- Inner blocks use content width: This setting lets the blocks within the Group adjust to the content width, with full and wide width options available.
- Content and Wide Width Controls: You can set custom pixel widths for the inner blocks when the layout is in content or wide views. This allows more control over the design and ensures consistency in how the blocks are displayed.
- Justification: Align the blocks within the group either to the left, center, or right. This is useful for positioning elements according to the desired aesthetic and functionality.
Visibility Settings:
- Enable Visibility: By default, the group is visible, but this toggle allows you to conditionally hide or display the group based on certain criteria.
- Conditional Fields: Only display the group if a specific field meets the selected condition. This feature is especially useful for dynamically showing or hiding content based on user input or data conditions. Supported field types include:
- Dropdown
- Radio buttons
- Yes/No fields
- Checkboxes
Position Settings:
- Sticky: The “sticky” option makes the group block stick to the top of the viewport while scrolling, useful for maintaining the visibility of key actions or essential information.
These settings allow for maximum flexibility and control over your layout design. By utilizing the Group block, you can manage visibility, align content, and improve the overall user experience.
