Creating Vertical Layouts
The Stack block in Engine Awesome allows you to organize your layout by stacking elements vertically. It’s particularly useful when you want to create a clean, structured view where components are aligned from top to bottom. Every block within a Stack block is arranged in a neat vertical format, giving clarity to forms, lists, or any type of content that benefits from this layout style.
Stack Block Settings
- Justification: Align content inside the Stack. You can adjust the alignment to left, center, or right.
- Orientation: Stack items from top to bottom. You can reverse the order, placing items from bottom to top.
- Allow to wrap to multiple lines: Enable this if you want blocks to wrap to a new line when the content becomes too long.
- Visibility: Control when to show the Stack block using conditional visibility. For example, only show this block when certain fields meet specific conditions.
- Conditional Fields: Select dropdown, radio, checkbox, or yes/no fields to define rules for showing or hiding the Stack block based on their values.
- Position: You can choose whether the block is “Sticky,” which means it will stay in view as you scroll, or standard, where it scrolls along with the page.
The Stack block is essential for organizing blocks in a user-friendly, readable manner. It ensures that content remains clear and easy to navigate, providing a consistent layout experience across various screen sizes.
