Email Field Documentation
The Email Field in Engine Awesome is used to collect and validate email addresses. It ensures that the input follows a valid email format (e.g., [email protected]), which is essential for third-party integrations, communications, and notifications.
When used in a layout, Engine Awesome can automatically include an “Email” button next to the field. When clicked, this button opens your default email client, allowing you to quickly send an email to the address entered in the field.
Standardization is crucial for integrating third-party services that rely on email functionality, such as marketing tools or CRMs.
